To-Do Lists Are Ready for a Reinvention To-do lists may be the next tech breakthrough — seriously. The foundation for a reinvention has already been set with the recommendation engines that power our experiences with Google, Netflix, and Pandora. Think about it. If one of these companies — or Facebook, LinkedIn, or a new startup — had access to your calendar, address book, email, apps, it wouldn’t be too difficult to generate a personalized to-do list for you. Better yet, if you could also tweak and tune the service to your own needs — say, if you could schedule nudges and set priorities — and the app adapted and responded in kind, it could do for time management what Amazon did for online shopping.
