มันเป็นเทคโนโลยีและอาจจะเป็นเทคโนโลยีที่ยุ่งยากกว่า

Bitcoin Could Be More Than Just a Digital Currency

Bitcoin is more than a digital currency; it’s a technology — and possibly a disruptive technology at that. For example, Bitcoin’s frictionless, peer-to-peer system could be used to improve traditionally burdensome processes such identity management. Today, our personal information — such as our passports and social security numbers — are still managed via a vulnerable, paper-based system. In fact, Interpol lists 39 million stolen travel documents in its database. But by using a similar cryptographic network as Bitcoin, governments could increase security by providing travelers a unique, forgery-free, and digital key that could be scanned at airports and checkpoints.
